I have had this as unread until I could read it…now flying from Darwin to Melb I have tears. I am so sorry for the loss of this gorgeous woman to her family and friends. I have no doubt her spirit is alive and well. God bless.

Beautiful stuff (as always) Damo. Cal's loss has floored me, and I only met her twice. For you and all of Cal's close friends, and of course Chris and Digby, I can't begin to imagine the magnitude of the void her loss has left you with. Big hugs from me and I know you will do her proud tomorrow. x

Thought of Cal (and this tribute to her) while we were driving the Gibb River Road between Katherine in the NT and Derby/Darby (Broome) in WA just now. Naturally, felt the need to snap a pic of the wonderful Mistake Ck as we safely traversed it: https://imgur.com/a/S18Rl6V

Such a lovely window into your special relationship with Cal. Thankyou for generously sharing that with us. I too have been consciously thinking WWCD. In that way, she's continuing to make the world a better place.

Beautiful words to honour your friend. I love the gem analogy. I didn't know Cal personally, but her sparkle was undeniable.

Sending you strength and hugs for the days ahead. x

Thank you for this. So, so sad she’s gone; so, so glad she was here. (The world is now officially up Shit Ck.)

The irony of reading your poignant words perched near, as I am, to Merri Ck is not lost on me. Thank you for sharing your thoughts; I'm sorry for our collective and your very personal loss. She was a treasure.
